On May 13th, Clifton Firefighters Englehardt, Lyons, Pavan, Snagusky, and Szep accompanied the Clifton Safety Patrols to Washington, DC as chaperones. The three day trip included stops at several of the Capital's main buildings, museums and memorials. A somber stop was made at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, where the students took part in ceremony to honor slain Clifton Police Officer John C. Samra.
