A motor vehicle accident took down a pole and power lines. The road was on fire upon Engine 2 arrival. Due to possible extension Engine 6 responded to Silleck Street to stand by. Public Service arrived and cut power to the area. Engine 2 started to cool down the roadway, however the hydrant on Mountain Park Road started to undermine. Thus, Engine 6 utilized their deck gun to "make it rain" from below.
Due to the power outage, Car 82 responded to a resident's request for help on Paxton Street. This resident is on life support which requires electric. The resident's emergency generator was started by Car 82's crew and the medical equipment was quickly placed back into operation.
